Karnes 4-H Invitational Hippology Contest
Do you know what Hippology is? Come find out on March 4, 2017 at the Karnes County Show Barn. It is a fun and exciting contest open to all Texas 4-H youth to test your knowledge and skills about HORSES! Registration is $15 per person and the preregistration deadline is February 14, 2017. District 11 Crossroads
District 11 Crossroads will be held November 18-20, 2016 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Corpus Christi, TX. Crossroads is a career development and youth leadership program for 8th-12th grade youth that exposes them to various career and higher education opportunities. We have great sessions planned with KRIS TV (communications), Vet Science ( TAMUK), the serpentarium at the National Natural Toxins Research Center, behind the scenes tours of the Texas State Aquarium, and the TAMUCC Athletic training program. Registration is available September 15 – October 21, 2016 for $175.
Late Registration is available October 22 – November 11, 2016 for an additional $25 fee.
