The Counties of Austin, Colorado, Fayette, and Washington are excited to host the Train Like A Champion Show on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at the Washington County Fairgrounds. The event has been modified to make sure safety procedures are in place to keep everyone safe.
An indoor clinic will NOT be offered this year. However, the showmanship clinic/workout, showmanship contest, and the prospect show are still being offered. There is a fee of $30 per head and this includes showmanship (only allowed to show 1 species in the showmanship contest).
Deadline to enter is July 6 and NO ONSITE OR LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. An entry form as well as event information and guidelines can be found here.

The 2020 District 11 4-H Record Book Judging will be held Thursday, July 9, 2020. Registration for the event is now open through June 26, 2020 on 4-H Connect. Late registration will be open from June 27 to July 3, 2020.

The Texas 4-H Outdoor Challenge will be held June 21-22, 2020 at the Texas 4-H Center in Lakewood, TX. Registration is currently open on 4-H Connect with an extended deadline to May 30th.
Registrations will remain in ‘pending’ status until the certainty of the event taking place is known. Registrants will be updated in the case of an event cancellation and all registrations will be terminated without processing fees.

District 5 is pleased to announce a 4-H Virtual Catfish Fishing Skill-a-thon to be hosted statewide and within districts desiring to participate. Registration is available online at 4-H Connect. Registration is open now through May 13, 2020.
