The Heart O’ Texas Livestock Show, presented by Bar None County Store, presents a new and exciting opportunity for 4-H and FFA students! The Video Contest is a creative way for students to discuss agriculture and earn scholarships.
The topic for the video is, “Why is the agricultural industry important in today’s global situation?”

Calling all 4-H alumni, current 4-H members and Clover Kids! Help us Embrace the Past, Empower the Present and Envision the Future at the 2020 Texas 4-H Roundup.
This year Texas 4-H Council would like to highlight 4-H from past to present. On Tuesday, they are looking for a 4-H Alumni to sing the National Anthem. Then on Wednesday a current Intermediate or Senior age 4-H member would perform. They would like to close the week featuring a Junior 4-H member or Clover kid.

The Travis County 4-H Shooting Sports Club and Austin Rifle Club would like to invite all Texas 4-H Shooting Sports members to join them on March 7th, 2020 in Manor, Texas at the Austin Rifle Club for the 21st Annual March Madness Invitational Shoot.
Registration and payment will be through iClays.com website. Registration will close in I-Clays at midnight on February 28, 2020.

Do you want a fun way to learn about insects? Get involved in the 2020 Texas 4-H Entomology Collection Contest. The contest is open to Junior, Intermediates and Seniors. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 4 entries per age division.
Registration will be through 4-H CONNECT on May 1 – May 22, 2020. Cost is $10. Arrangements need to be made to have collections physically brought to College Station on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 to the HEEP Center, Room 411 by 10 am. Arrangements also need to be arranged for collection pick up.
Awards will be announced during the Entomology Identification Awards ceremony the afternoon of Wednesday, June 10th. Results will also be posted online for those unable to attend in person.
