PEER is a student outreach group with the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. They will be hosting an online Summer Learning Experience on the concept of One Health and its importance in veterinary medicine. They will also include advice for getting into veterinary school, as well as a virtual tour of the TAMU Vet School Complex. This summer learning experience will be taught by current veterinary students under the supervision of a certified teacher.
Who: Your high school or middle school student!
What: A FUN, interactive, scientific learning experience about Human, Animal, & Environmental Health.
When: High School One Health: Monday and Tuesday mornings at 11:30am-12:30pm from July 13th to July 27th.
Middle School One Health: Monday and Tuesday mornings at 10:00-11:00am from July 6th to July 20th.
How: Virtually through an online platform with restricted access for your student’s protection.
Why: To gain KNOWLEDGE of One Health and veterinary medicine while earning PRIZES based on points gained from participation in this fun and interactive educational experience.
