Texas 4-H Shooting Sports Program

March 28, 2019 by annette.cayard

Texas 4-H Shooting Sports is a great way for kids ages eight to eighteen to learn valuable life skills, such as leadership, self-discipline, and camaraderie. There is something for everyone in the Texas 4-H Shooting Sports program. This project offers education, recreation and competition in Archery, Rifle, Muzzleloading, Shotgun, Pistol, and much more. 4-H and its Shooting Sports program is a great opportunity for children to learn the rules of firearm safety, and proper shooting techniques. While it is about fun, safety is the number one priority. The Shooting Sports program is one of the largest and fastest growing projects in 4-H. If you or someone you know would be interested in joining the Shooting Sports program, you can contact your local county agent or go to: Texas 4-H Shooting Sports.
